Ordering
All products on our website can be purchased online and paid for securely via Multisafepay (Bancontact, credit card, iDeal) or by bank transfer.
Step-by-Step Guide for Online Purchase:
- Choose the desired product in the correct size.
Click on 'Add to Cart.'
- Continue Shopping or Go to Cart:
You can continue shopping or go directly to your cart by clicking the icon at the top right of the page.
- Review Your Cart:
In your cart, you'll see an overview of your order. Here you can adjust the quantity or remove an item entirely.
- Proceed to Checkout:
Click on “Checkout” to proceed.
- Sign In or Check Out as Guest:
Choose to sign in, create an account, or check out as a guest. Already have a customer card in the store? Then click the green button 'Register and Order.'
- Enter Your Order and Payment Information:
On the 'Order & Payment Information' page, you’ll see the shipping information. Choose a payment method and, if necessary, enter your company details. You can also add a note to your order here. On the right, you’ll see an order summary and any applicable customer discounts. If you have a voucher, you can use it here too.
- Proceed to the Next Step:
Click 'Proceed to Order' at the bottom right to continue.
- Verify Delivery Information:
If you selected Bpost delivery, you will enter the Bpost module. Verify your delivery details and confirm or choose a pickup point/parcel locker.
- Complete Your Order:
You will now see a final summary of your order. Pay using the 'Pay and Complete Purchase' button.
Once we receive your order, we will process it as quickly as possible to ship it to the specified delivery address.
Important: If the products you ordered are sold in-store at the same time, in-store sales take priority. In that case, we will refund your payment as soon as possible. Only when you receive a shipping confirmation email are the shoes definitively yours.

Feel free to send us an email, and we’ll help you complete your order. Please include the desired model, color, and size, as well as your full address details and whether you already have a customer card with us.

Under ‘My Account,’ you can find an overview of all your orders.
For each order, you can check the current status.
As soon as we ship your package, you’ll receive an email from Bpost with a track & trace code, allowing you to easily track your package.

We do our best to process all orders as quickly as possible, which means it’s not always possible to make changes to your order afterward.

You can always choose to complete your order as a guest, without creating an account.
However, creating an account does come with a few benefits:

Payment
You can pay online with:
Debit Card Payment:
You can pay with your Bancontact or Maestro card. Use your Bancontact card with a card reader or the Bancontact app on your smartphone.
Credit Card Payment:
For Visa or MasterCard, we also require the card’s verification code to ensure that the card is not used by an unauthorized person. The amount is debited from your card immediately upon confirmation of payment.
Payment via Belfius Online or KBC Online:
You can also pay directly through your Belfius or KBC online banking.
Payment by Bank Transfer:
After your order, you’ll receive an email with an order confirmation and all payment instructions. Please note that we may not receive your payment immediately, which can extend the delivery time. You have 3 days to complete your payment. If payment is not received within this period, your order will be automatically canceled.
Payment with iDEAL:
This payment method is available only for Dutch bank cards.
Payment with Apple Pay and Google Pay:
You can also use Apple Pay or Google Pay for quick and secure payment via your smartphone.
If you have a gift voucher or credit voucher, you can of course use it online. During the payment process, enter the unique code and PIN provided on your voucher. The value of your voucher will then be immediately deducted.

A gift voucher or credit voucher cannot be returned, exchanged, or converted into cash.
With every order, you will receive an order confirmation.
Would you like a VAT invoice? Be sure to add your business details when placing your order.

Yes, online payment is secure! To ensure the safety of your online transaction, we work with Multisafepay. All online payments are processed through their secure system, meaning your bank details are always encrypted during transmission over the internet. This minimizes the risk of loss or theft of your identity or credit card information.
Additionally, we use the latest security technologies, such as SSL certificates, to ensure that all your data remains safe. You can shop with confidence, knowing that we do everything possible to make your online shopping experience as secure as possible.
Delivery & Pickup
Your order is always delivered by Bpost. You can choose where to have your package delivered:
- At home or at another address of your choice.
- At a Bpost post office or pickup point.
- In a Bpost parcel locker.
As soon as your package leaves us, you will receive a shipping confirmation with a track & trace code. In this email, you’ll find a link that allows you to follow the exact delivery status of your package.
If you’re not home at the time of delivery, Bpost can deliver your package to a location of your choice. Be sure to set your delivery preferences.
- Visit the website or download the My bpost app.
- Enter the information you used when ordering your package.
- Select your preferred delivery location if you’re not home:
- a Pickup Point or Parcel Locker nearby
- a safe location (e.g., carport, garden shed, under a shelter)
- a neighbor
For each package you’re expecting, Bpost will send you a separate email where you can adjust your delivery preferences for that specific package. (For example, you may want to choose a different neighbor if your previous choice is going on vacation.)
Tip: Using the My bpost app, you can view all your packages at a glance and change the delivery location for your Bpost package up to 5 minutes before delivery.
Orders placed before 2:00 pm and paid online or via instant bank transfer are usually delivered the next day by Bpost.
As soon as your package leaves us, you will receive a shipping confirmation with a track & trace code. In this email, you’ll find a link that allows you to track the exact delivery status of your package.
For orders over 75 euros to a Belgian address, we do not charge any shipping costs. This is completely free. If your purchase amount is below 75 euros, a 5-euro shipping fee applies.
For orders placed from the Netherlands, the shipping costs are 9 euros. From Luxembourg, France, or Germany, it’s 12 euros.

You can choose to pick up your order at our store in Ghent, Ostend, or Kortrijk. We will keep you informed by email when your order is ready for pickup.
When you come to pick up the order, you can try on the shoes and, if desired, look for another pair or opt for a refund via bank transfer.
Absolutely! Just let us know in the ‘comments’ field that you’d like a gift, and we’ll be happy to wrap it for you.
Returns & Exchanges
Are you not satisfied with your order? No problem! We accept returns within 14 days of delivery.
Follow these steps to register your return:

- Free Exchange in Store:
If you exchange in one of our stores, this is completely free of charge.
Note: Please complete the included return form correctly, indicating whether you would like an exchange or a refund. This helps us process your return as quickly and accurately as possible.
Always return products in their original, undamaged packaging, along with all accessories. We recommend reusing the original shipping box. In case of damage to the goods or the original packaging, the customer is responsible for the depreciation in value.
- Worn shoes or used leather goods
- Shoes with (lightly) damaged soles
- Shoes without the original packaging
- Shoes missing accessories such as laces, insoles, heel pieces, or extra pouches
- Items specially ordered for the customer
These return conditions and the specified return address apply only to products purchased in the webshop.
If you exchange in our stores, this is completely free of charge. Returning an item by mail is also possible at your own expense. This can be done via Bpost, starting at €6.65.
5% Customer discount
With every purchase, you receive a generous customer discount.* You earn 5% of your purchase amount each time, both online and in-store. This credit is stored on your digital loyalty card. On your next purchase, this discount is automatically applied. You can also choose to save up your discount for a future purchase.
*The loyalty credit does not apply to discounted items or purchases of gift cards, maintenance products, laces, socks, insoles, and repairs. The loyalty credit cannot be combined with other discounts and is not redeemable for cash or vouchers.
You can use this online if your email address is registered with us.

- Under ‘New customer or store customer?’, click the green button ‘Register here.’
- Enter the email address you provided in our store under ‘Link existing customer account’. Don’t forget to accept the terms and conditions as well.
- You will receive an email with a link to set your password.

By creating an account, you automatically join our customer discount program. From your first online purchase, you’ll start earning 5% of your purchase amount, which you can apply as a discount on your next order.

Gift voucher
Absolutely! You can purchase a gift card online, which can then be used both online and in our physical stores.
A gift card can be purchased for any amount you choose. When placing your order, you have the option to send the gift card to your own email or directly to the lucky recipient’s email. You can also choose to have it delivered by Bpost in a gift package. Delivery takes about three business days, either to you or directly to the recipient, depending on your preference.
The gift card is valid for 2 years from the date of issuance.
Please note that a voucher or another gift card cannot be applied to the purchase of a gift card. This option is only available for product purchases.

Is your order more than the value of your voucher? Then you can pay the remaining amount using a payment method of your choice.
Is your order less than the value of your voucher? You will automatically receive a new voucher with the remaining balance via email.
Shoe size & care
Mephisto uses UK sizes. You can find these on the insole of your shoes and also on the inside of the shoe itself, right after "EUR."
Not sure about your EUR size? You can always refer to our size chart to see the corresponding EUR size for your measurement. This size chart is available on every product page.

General questions
Within all our collections, with the exception of the Originals models, most shoes and some sandals come with a removable footbed.
For each shoe or sandal, you can find in the product details whether the insole is removable or not. You can also use the filters to view only models that are suitable for use with orthotics, giving you a clear overview of the options.
The Mobils & Sano collections are specifically designed for people with orthotics. Not only do these shoes and sandals feature a removable footbed, but they also have a slightly wider fit, making it easy to accommodate orthotics.

In general, our women's models are available in sizes 35 to 42, and our men's models in sizes 39 to 46. Half sizes are also available in our closed shoes. Of course, not all sizes are always in stock.
